Companies are realizing that since some time ago some DJs don’t want to carry all the CDs or vinyls with them and use MP3 (or other type of files) players or mass storage devices. Kam, a UK company that makes DJ products, has released the Kam iMix100, a new mixing system that includes 2 iPod dock stations and USB port for that kind of DJS.
The Kam iMix100 features 2-channels, 2 iPod dock stations, iPod pitch fader control and LED, playback and transport controls and 3-band EQ per channel, crossfader, gain, mic, master and headphones level controls, 2 phono/line inputs for external players, master and record outputs and infra red remote control.
This mixer can also find song files in both iPods at the same time with the Dual iPod find file system and has playlist selection buttons. The Kam iMix100 is in pre-order status and its price is £179 ($350 approximately).
